En Abril de 2026, se llevó a cabo un taller de fotografía con un grupo de adolescentes del campamento de refugiados IDP de Durumi, en Abuja (Nigeria).
Durante una semana las participantes estuvieron experimentando y explorando a través de diferentes ejercicios visuales, dentro del campamento.
Este proyecto forma parte del programa Acerca coordinado por Aecid y la Embajada de España en Nigeria. Durante su desarrollo también participaron Tswini The Skilled Women Initiative, Fati Abubakar Foundation and Cómo ser fotógrafa.
Las cámaras y película que utilizaron las participantes se utilizaron con la colaboración de InstaxFujifilm España.
Esta inciativa demuestra que el arte y la creación son herramientas de transformación social por muy vulnerable que sea el contexto donde tiene lugar.
In April 2026, a photography workshop was held with a group of teenagers from the IDP refugee camp in Durumi, Abuja (Nigeria).
For a week the participants were experimenting and exploring through different visual exercises, inside the camp.
This project is part of the Acerca program coordinated by Aecid and the Spanish Embassy in Nigeria. During her development, Tswini The Skilled Women Initiative, Fati Abubakar Foundation and How to be a photographer also participated.
The cameras and film used by the participants were used with the collaboration of InstaxFujifilm Spain.
