Podríamos temblar (2023-2025)
Podríamos temblar es un proyecto fotográfico en curso iniciado en 2023, surgido a partir de un regreso inesperado a un territorio ligado a la infancia.
Durante años, los campos y caminos de Castilla fueron un espacio de juego, deriva y descubrimiento. Desde la vida adulta, ese mismo paisaje reaparece transformado: ya no como un lugar reconocible o descriptivo, sino como una presencia latente atravesada por la memoria, el tiempo y la experiencia.
Las imágenes nacen de paseos sin rumbo ni intención previa. En esa deriva, la cámara se detiene en fragmentos de lo cotidiano; los lugares se muestran de forma velada, evitando toda identificación directa. El territorio no se afirma, se insinúa. El paisaje se convierte así en un umbral, un espacio donde lo visible y lo invisible y lo imaginado coexisten.
El uso de la fotografía analógica y el proceso de revelado lith refuerzan esta dimensión espectral. La textura arenosa, los contrastes imprevisibles y la materialidad del soporte transforman las escenas en visiones oníricas, cercanas a lo cinematográfico, donde se genera una tensión silenciosa entre lo que permanece y lo que parece desaparecer. Las imágenes no documentan un lugar, sino que evocan presencias: fantasmas del presente que activan recuerdos sin fijarlos, ecos de una experiencia pasada que persiste en el tiempo.
En este intervalo entre lo vivido y lo imaginado, entre la infancia y el ahora, la fotografía funciona como un espacio de resonancia.

Podríamos tremblar is an ongoing photographic project started in 2023, arising from an unexpected return to a territory linked to childhood.
For years, the fields and roads of Castile were a space of play, drift and discovery. Since adulthood, that same landscape reappears transformed: no longer as a recognizable or descriptive place, but as a latent presence crossed by memory, time and experience.
The images are born of walks without direction or prior intention. In this drift, the camera stops at fragments of everyday life; the places are displayed covertly, avoiding any direct identification. The territory is not asserted, it is insinuated. The landscape thus becomes a threshold, a space where the visible and the invisible and the imagined coexist.
The use of analogue photography and the process of revealing lith reinforce this spectral dimension. The sandy texture, the unpredictable contrasts and the materiality of the support transform the scenes into dreamlike visions, close to the cinematic, where a silent tension is generated between what remains and what seems to disappear. Images do not document a place, but evoke presences: ghosts of the present that activate memories without fixing them, echoes of a past experience that persists in time.
In this interval between what is lived and imagined, between childhood and now, photography functions as a space of resonance.
