Misión Región (2023)
El proyecto Misión Región pone el acento en cómo habitamos, transformamos e interpretamos nuestro entorno; entendiendo el paisaje como un libro de familia, testimonio de la historia y retrato de sus habitantes.
Impulsado por la Subdirección General de Patrimonio Histórico, el proyecto surge durante el primer semestre de 2022, cuando 17 fotógrafas y 16 fotógrafos recorrieron la Comunidad de Madrid con el objetivo de retratar el paisaje madrileño desde el punto de vista patrimonial. Se iniciaba así una misión fotográfica histórica que daría como resultado un fondo de casi 2000 fotografías, que hoy forman parte del patrimonio madrileño, conservadas en su Archivo Regional.
The project Mission Region emphasizes how we inhabit, transform and interpret our environment; understanding the landscape as a family book, testimony to the history and portrait of its inhabitants.
Promoted by the Subdirectorate General of Historical Heritage, the project emerged during the first half of 2022, when 17 photographers and 16 photographers toured the Community of Madrid with the aim of depicting the landscape of Madrid from a patrimonial point of view. Thus began a historical photographic mission that would result in a fund of almost 2000 photographs, which today are part of the Madrid heritage, preserved in its Regional Archive.
